is there an easier way to create a photo album than laying it all out in dreamweaver/photoshop..?
i have about a million photos i want to put on my website and really don't have the time to sit and create each album in dreamweaver or photoshop. Don't want to add them all to photobucket or anything like that as i want them all on my server...
i found something called 'gallery' online and its some sort of php based thing but trying to install that on my server is turning out to be a nightmare...
a guy i know has written something called CLIGS which does a similar job but is just as complicated to set up...

www.slideshowpro.net (http://www.slideshowpro.net) - $20 very simple to use
couple that with sspadmin.com and you ahve a content management system for your gallery for $5 more
http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/ - free with a link back to the makers page
I love slideshow pro - beautiful interface - I used it for the portfolio on this site www.mistyrichmond.com (http://www.mistyrichmond.com)

i did my photo albums in photoshop last time round and just found it very time consuming for something that looked a bit uninspiring... really want something a bit simpler to create which looks a bit less 'static' if you know what i mean...
sorry chris, i just re-read my last post and it sounds like i'm being a bit unappreciative. I don't mean to be, and my thanks for the links are sincere. :)

no problem at all, it's just that normally it's plain sailing with both of those. Let me ponder that one!!
