I'm sure you remember my post a couple weeks ago about the shirts I was going to get printed...well, here they are. I am super excited with them! I've been designing T-shirts for customers for 15+ years now and never did one for myself, so here it is, my first of hopefully many more to come.

Let me know what you think of them...

Here's the back...

and the front...my new tribal logo design, which started as my tattoo idea...

Let me know what you think of them. My website should be updated with lots of new stuff in the coming weeks!!

Thanks!
Tony

I'm a big fan of your work, but the front doesn't do much for me.

I hate to start into this, but are you doing this shirt for yourself or to showcase design? Frankly, it looks like another car rally shirt (and I've been to so many of them I don't care to count) but if that's what you want, go for it.

BTW, the back is beautiful as are all your illustrations but as a motorhead myself, I hate the pinstriping thing. Maybe that's my problem. I'm not into the 60s pinstriping thing but if that's what you like, go for it and disregard my opinion.

I did this shirt more to promote my business. The logo on front is something that represents me and my passions...cars, flames, tribal designs...all the car stuff that I love. Honestly, that logo on front started out as a tattoo which I was creating for myself as something that represented me. After I started on this T-shirt I thought, why not use it...I spent countless hours sketching out ideas that fit 'me', so I decided it was a perfect fit for this. I'm a huge fan of all the old-school hot rod stuff...low, loud, pinstriping, flames...all that stuff, so I felt the front and back design here really represent me.

Sorry that the front doesn't do much for ya, but I honestly love it and am happy with it.

I would have loved to added more color to the car and such, but at $13+ a piece for this shirt as you see it...I couldn't afford to add more colors. Plus I really like the simplicity of the 2 color design anyway.

I understand and respect your thoughts and opinions, but as I said, I'm thoroughly happy with them and wouldn't have changed a thing.

Thanks.

Awesome, I bow to your superior ability to illustrate some sweet rides. I also do alot of shirt designs and never even thought of making one to promote my buusiness, I think it is a great idea. I remember when you posted the art initially and its cool to see the finished product. It worked out really nice with the limited colors I remember thinking that might be a problem having done similar things myself, sometimes its tough to translate what you want in only a couple of colors.

Not yet. We went to Hart & Huntington and Vegas back in October, but they didn't have time to get us in...not too mention they were kinda pricey. I'll eventually find a good local shop and get it done.

Then that's all that matters. As I said earlier, I don't care for pinstriping but I know a lot of car guys who love it.

Anyway, from a design standpoint it's very good work. I'm probably in the minority when I say I don't like pinstriping anyway...
