I am looking for an online printer that will print double sided business cards but not the same paper stock on each side. I want to be able to write on the back of the card but I also want a glossy finish on the front. It seems as if I can't find anyone that does this.

Advice please? Thanks a million.

I would but I have a design that I want on the back :( Sorry, I should have been more detailed :)

Need to spec out the right paper stock; print on the usual card stock with aqueous coating on the front and no coating on the back. That will give the gloss for the front of the card.

The other option is to find a printer that will adhere two pieces of stock together then print. I saw this before and it resulted in a very unusual card. I don't know that an online printer such as 48hourprint.com, etc., would do this.

I agree. And it's exactly what you described. You can print on both sides.

stock can be gloss on one side but not on the other.

OR you can use a stock that isn't glossy and have one side varnished.
Mmm... varnish!

Mmm... varnish!Perhaps that would solve the crayon/paste dilemma...

I think a little rubber cement sniffing would cure ^that^ dilemma. Sniff enough of that and EVERYTHING tastes good. ;)

just don't get UV coating on the side you want to write on.

This would we a good solution. If your having it printed off-set, just go with an uncoated paper stock and have the front gloss or satin varnished.

Uncoated papers take inks and pencils well.
