I don't know exactly what you'd call it, but I've seen it called "new school graphic style" before.
I can tell you where I think it comes from.
I think it's a product of the software that's used to make it if you know what I mean. It seems a lot of this style shows up in glossy computer arts mags under the "who's cool now of illustrator users" or something.
I would say it's similar to scratching on a turntable.

Is it "a little bit naff" school of design?
I would get into so much trouble from me Mam if I'd scratched anything round our house

I think it looks nice, but I wonder if the creators can ever explain what it means.
Personally, though, I do like it.

Try "fantasy illustration". Maybe add the term abstract.
It's not always vector art. A lot of it is pen and ink.

That style of webdesign, is called COMMON.
the style of the tshirts? well its really a mishmash of philosophies, postmodern; new modern. The style is new, so it probably wont get named until its 10 years old, bit like grunge.

Can anyone recommend me to any art sites with more examples of styles/design similar to the ones mentioned above? Doesn't have to be t-shirts, just general examples of that style. Thanks

I'm not sure - but if you need inspiration - just about every single shirt in aeropostle has this style of design on it...and 100 other clothing retailers as well.
I personally like it - but as printed work - not on my clothes.
I think it's a product of the software that's used to make it if you know what I mean.
No, sorry. Lots of this work is done by very talented illustrators. Yes - they're trendy and 'everyone' is working in this style, but that does not mean it is a product of software.
Like PD said - a lot of this type of work can be found in pen & ink...these people can draw.
