to start with, I like it!
I might consider making the headings semi-bold to break the page up a little more, but that is strictly personal preference, nothing more.
Just some nit-picky stuff here:
I notice that under "computer proficiency" the word "Illustrator" is broken onto a second line, and there is no space between the comma after it and the word InDesign... that's probably just me being picky, but I am a punctuation freak.
In your summary of skills, there are a few extra spaces between the words "experienced in" and "color theory" you will want to remove. Also don't know if you need a capital "S" on "Silk-screen".
For employment, I have always been encouraged not to list the months of employment, just the years... but I think that's more a matter of taste than anything.
I've always seen the word "counselor" spelled with only one "L", but upon checking the dictionary, it seems that it is also acceptable as you spelled it, with two. I'd personally change the "W" in "Water-ski" to lowercase, as I think it is more grammatically correct that way.
I would like to see you get the entire word 'instructor' on one line... you could always abbreviate "Maryland" as "MD" if that would help.
Finally, in your last line, I would change the "&" to the word "and" if you can make it fit. Just makes the flow of reading a little smoother.
Overall, I quite like it. Nicely done!
Hope some of that helped a bit.
thats exactly what i was looking for... thanks.
yeh, i was thinking about making the headings a bit bolder, just didnt want them to stand out too much...

I wouldn't go full bold, but maybe semi - or a .5 stroke on them or something.
