Howdy there!

Sometimes when we go to print or export as PDF, Quark 6 gives us an error message saying, 'The font Myriad (for example) is corrupt and will be replaced with courier', I can cancel or click 'OK' in which case either nothing prints, or Quark freezes up.

Other programs, such as Illustrator have no trouble with these fonts. I have tried moving the suspect fonts around (from Suitcase straight into the Library/Fonts folder for example)... Nada.

Have upgraded to 6.1 also.

Any thoughts?

That happens to me to but I just hit okay and it prints. I just doesn't freeze on me. I would say get font doctor or something.

Do you have a backup copy of your fonts on a CD or something? If you do, just trash that font and replace it with itself from that CD. If it is happening with alotta your fonts then just place a new set of the fonts on your computer. Sometimes they get corrupt when your computer crashes.
