i made a funky little animated gif a while ago using image ready but it's too bit to use on here.
i went back into image ready and re-sized it and now for somereason i can't seem to save it as a gif - and ontop of that when i go into the help menue it is using some messued up illegible typeface. grrr. any ideas peeps? please.
p.s i've only ever used image raedy once before when creating the original.

So restarting worked, or not? Are you on a PC? If so I probably can't help you much (on a Mac), but whenever something shaggy goes on that's always my first try.

kerry, you using a pirated version of creative suite or something? that's usually the reason for the messed up help docs - if you're not, give adobe a call and get it sorted.. kinda stupid having a program you paid for with no support docs.
Anyway. Open window>optimize and all will be explained. to save choose save optimized as... alternatively, you can open the gif in imageready and click edit in photoshop to use photoshop's animation system instead.

urst sorry dude i decided it was getting late and went to bed - wont be able to find out till later when i get home.
Ork no offence mate but i earned every bit of my version of CS2. It was late so i'll perhaps give adobe a call when i have time. I though i may have messed with a setting somewhere or something stupid. Have never used photoshop's animation tools but i may give it a got - i'm much more comfortable with Photoshop then Image Ready
Thanks for your time dude's - i'll let you know how i get on.
