I was in a bookstore today and overheard a couple looking at a Canadian flag in an atlas talking about something you could see in the white space of the flag.
I'm to lazy to look so maybe you know?

Hey... Well that is a good question! I've never heard of there being anything in the white space but stranger things have happened. I even went and looked at any flags, stickers, whatever I could find around the house to see if I could see anything. I'm not seeing anything.
Unless somehow the points of the maple leaf are supposed to form an image, you know like when you see an image and then you look at it again and there is another image there as well. For example the 'old woman" / "young lady looking in the mirror". Ever see that one?
Anywho I still don't see anything that way either, its 11pm here now where I live so my eyes are only half open! If you find out let me know, I'd be curious to know if there is something there.

Well, I stared at it a while, and if you turn it at about a 45 degree angle there is sort of a face in the white (mirror thing you mentioned)
It's not as big a deal as this couple made it sound, but neat anyway.

No no... The neat part is... if you turn it 315 degrees, you see the same face, looking the other way!!

Ok I had to go back and look again this morning and I finally see the face that you are talking about. It's formed by the points of the maple leaf. Well there I never knew that.
Morea, I'm not sure what Howie Town is so I would have to say it must be another scotia. :-)

what there is something besides white space in our flag? Great I am going to be staring at the darn flag all day now...probably wont see anything and it will drive me crazy....thanks guys
