Yeah, I guess it is. A nice, bright, shiny Monday after a cold, rainy weekend.

But I'm not bitter, or anything.

This weekend seemed to last forever. Which is a good thing, I suppose. Dag rain pushed my lawn mowing to Tuesday night. Grrrr.

i had an excellent weekend I'd say. Went to a greek festival thats held in town every year...I went about 3 times. Mmmm Grape leaves...

also watched Princess Mononoke again, wrote up some stuff, ebayed some other stuff, and in general enjoyed a relaxing time.

thought about some future plans, tickling the idea of teaching english in Japan for a year...of course it would take me a year or more to prep to do this as well

Silence04, I thought of you this weekend! I went to a graduation party and this young guy was whereing this t-shirt that had an odd logo on the back. I couldn't figure out where I had seen it before and kept staring. Then I figured it out! It was your avatar! :) I spend too much time here I guess! Haha!

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, never been to one, but it is supposed to be one of the best chains in the country with a consistent level of high quality through out all the locations

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is a restaurant chain. It started in Louisiana when a woman named Ruth bought the Chris steakhouse. It then became Ruth's Chris.

I ate there once. The food was pretty good, but at twice the price of a comparable meal from Outback Steakhouse, it wasn't really worth it to me.

Wow, you must have been there on an off night then... I thought it was atleast twice as good as Outback. The steak was far more tender and thick. So tender you could cut it with a butter knife. Sure it's pricey, but every thing I ate there was worth it.

I hated every Outback Steakhouse I've ever been too. The local Applebee's is pretty sweet, Burboun Street Steak done medium rare every time. Delicious. The local Texas Roadhouse used to be awesome, but the service quality has taken a downhill turn.

That's funny, I've never once heard of Ruth Chris.

getting me and my gf out of there fully stuffed, little drunk, with left overs costed me about $240 with tip.

I ate a cheapo (Plate size for $2.00) steak forom the local slaughterhouse that we cooked over the fire and I cut with my fork. It was awesome. Then I hiked 15 miles in 2 days. I am a bit sore.

I'm sore too. Yesterday I decided that I'm going to start incorporating sprints into my workouts. I went out to the old high school track that's now all-weather, and sprinted two 200 meter sets. Luckily I'm still as fast as I used to be, but goddamn if that didn't kick my ass. I had hard headwind on the home stretch each time.

15 miles in 2 days! thats like a years worth of walking for me... you must be pooped!Actually, I just stumbled onto this link (http://www.enduranceis.com/e50/) today. This guy does those insane ultra-marathons, and ran like 80 hours straight without sleep and ate/drank while running. 15 miles in 2 days is quite a bit though, namely for us normal non-ultra-marathon folk. :D

Apparently now this guy is going to do 50 miles in each of the 50 states in 50 days. Holy crap.

Jafo and I took the boys to the local state park/forest on Sat. and hiked about 5 miles on a trail. THen, yesterday we took a friend's daughter (she's 12) and we hiked about 10+ miles and played in the creek. We climbed rocks and went off trails and climbed around, playing in the creek. It was quite the workout.
