Welcome to the GDF photo project for June... here are the guidelines:

Please do not upload attachments, as they don't carry over properly into the voting thread.

• You can host photos for free at www.thecreativeforum.com, which will also allow you to put your images into the GDF Photo Gallery(when you upload a photo, just select a GDF destination from the dropdown menu).

• NO PHOTOSHOP or other photo editing software may be used except for processing (cropping, tonal / color adjustments, and resizing) No elements, objects, or images can be cloned, cut out, or taken out of the original image other than what occurs from cropping.

• One entry per member. You may post more than one photo in this thread, but be sure to specify which one you want included in the voting as your entry.

• Ideal image size is 600 pixels wide.

• Cut off date for submitting photos will be Sunday June 25th.

The theme is: "odd". Happy shooting!

I'll go with this one for now... for some reason, even when I resize it, it comes out this big.

edit: *sigh* well now it's really small... oh well.

Go to Account Options at the very top right, and in User Info change the Max Image Size dropdown. That bugged me one day too.

Zen, there were two of them together, and this was the larger so I took a guess... does it look female? Can't tell.

Lovin' all of these animal pics =).

as an aside, the larger in the animal kingdom is usually the female. But either way, nice shot!

This won't make the finals but it was damn odd to us!

Max has a ring that he plays fetch with. It is plastic and used to hold some measuring spoons together. It's about the size of a quarter. On many occasions, the particular ghost in the house that likes to take things and then make a game of where we find the item when he puts back somewhere else, did so this time with his ring. The ring had been gone for maybe 4 days. I got up one morning, went to the sink to grab a spoon and there it was, stuck between the tines of a fork!

Thanks Morea. In Canada it always seems the other way around... I must be settling into the naiive city-folk routine. Damn those male racoons are big!
