Hi All!
I was the twentieth person to join the GDF back in 2002. I've been here everyday since. Ask me sometime and I'll tell you how it was back in the "old days" LOL.
I came into design through the back door via the pressroom and then pre-press. I have dual bachelors degrees in business accounting and marketing. Currently I work with a handful of freelance clients and am the Editor in Chief of a large online graphic design magazine. I also keep an eye on things around here in the GDF. http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif

2002? Wow, that's quite a track record Kool. Sorry I'm late to the intro, I love the Friday posts, although I'm often not reading them until Saturday.
This place is awesome. People like you make it that way.
Pajama Party, eh? Do penguins wear pajamas? Morea, you're going to have to help me with an outfit. :D

that's just your bad karma, jp.
It's because we're poor JP, cats are cheaper to maintain than dogs. :D

i had to bathe my cat the other day - she went on a wander and came home covered in motor oil.
i deserve a frickin' medal.
i'm a dog person at heart, but that cat has got me wrapped around her crazy toe/thumb/thing.

...SO! kool! um...what size shoe do you wear?
Size 10
Bathing cats is a trecherous undertaking. I usually just throw mine in the washing machine. ;)

I'd rather give a cat a bath instead of a pill. There's a fun time.

Hey, Kool. Thanks for all the Friday posts.
*note* The best way to pill a cat is to wrap them in a blanket, pill them, throw them blanket and all ou tthe door, lock it and hide while they pick the lock and plot your death.

hi, Kool!
Hey DD! http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif
Yep you have one of the rare 2003 join dates. All recovered from the great ticket trauma? ;)
Hey Dane! http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif
You know Dane is such a good illustrator that just by associating with him in a few PMs I was able to create the perfect illustration. ;)

Hi Kool. Saw your post the other day with Morea's lonely reply and didn't even WANT to post an intro. LOL. (I just posted that to see if I joined before or after DD. Hah! Before. So there. :D)
LOL, all the noobs are scared of me though, only one of the respondants to this thread has less than a thousand posts. I'm pretty dissappointed that I haven't received a single inquiry as to any of the services I offer on my card. http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif

A used car, maybe. But used Prophylactics and used cowboy hats
And maybe Rickself should find out who hired you to do his house.
I must stress that all prophylactics are new in box.
I offer both new and "gently" used cowboy hats. Most of the nails are new and all of the manure is used. The fly swatters are all new except the one hanging above my desk, it has a few fly bits stuck to it. The land is all used. Some of the cats & buddas are used but most are new. It's an older card, I don't sell bonds anymore. All of the ice is new unless you consider that all of the water on the earth has been recycled millions of times. Just think that glass of water you just drank was probably once pancaked in by an amoebae, peed out by a T Rex, stepped in by a Woolly Mammoth, used to wash a caveman's armpit and flushed out of the concord. http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif

Hi Hi. I am not recovered. I still have the ticket. :p I can't figure out how not to have it. <sigh> I guess I'm stuck. Oh well. Lesson learned. :o
