Ok i did a drawing in illustrator and showed it on gdf like 3 weeks ago and it got slammed. So i went back and toke the advice of all you guys. I am not 100 % but wanted to show what i have so far. I am enclosing the original piece which got SLAMMED whichis the first one (on the left) and the newer version which i am working on (on the right). enjoy. just for kicks i threw in my power puff girls drawing i did also in illustratorhttp://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/rofl.gif

think more stylized.....draw what you SEE not what you THINK you see

does anyone's nose look like that??? no one has lines on there face

thanks d frag, i will try to follow those steps... so does that mean my illy sux?? i understand where you are coming from bro, but i am a cartoony type of illustrator not more so a person that tries to make realistic looking pieces. as for my attempt to remake my picture what changes would you make to it or what do you like or dislike. thanks D frag

are you tracing the image in illustrator from a photo or sketch?

lots of details. i think he traced everything from a photo.
its a draining process but worth it!
i'm no expert, but i think you need to look more into the details.

Looks kind of like Cubism to me, Cubism meets Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Props for coming back after getting slammed to. Most folk would just get defensive and slam back.
