it looks great Jeff! What a transformation!

My irises are starting to pass, daylilies should be opening soon. I am due to put in a few more beds this year.

I originally started with a small vegetable garden, but most of the vegetables have been pushed into one small corner. I have such a hard time organizing my beds.

Unfortunately, this year I've got a plague of woodchucks that eat the vegetables as they sprout... but the flowers are doing well.

Plant marigolds around the border of your veggie garden. That keeps the rabbits out of mine. Might work on woodchucks.

Nice patio Jeff. I put a slate one in last year but ran out of money this year to finish the earthworks in the side yard or the back deck at the house I live at. We've had so much rain everything here has either bolted or gotten mashed down. The Peonies are absolutely pummeled into the mud.

I planted a bunch of bulbs this year. I have no idea what they are, but they were pretty on the package, and one set said they'd grow to about 1' tall and blossom mid-spring, the other set said they'd grow to about 3' tall (one is now working on 4') and blossom late summer. I put them all in nice neat rows...

Then my husband came along (behind my back) and planted 2 different types of Sunflowers. Lots of Sunflowers...randomly... they are working on 4' to 5' tall now. So, until the "good" plants had grown tall enough to distinguish from the weeds (and the awful ivy planted by previous owners) I was forbiden to weed.

Now, we have 3 neat rows of flowers and random sunflower stalks. It should be quite interesting when they all bloom. If they get to, the neighbor refuses to keep her cat inside, and it keeps trampling the bed.

Oh, and on the side of the house there's lots of the previous owner's plants, and a few pumpkin vines we planted.

I have daylily bulbs, but haven't decided where I want them yet.

We' planted over 750 bulbs (a gift from a friends - and all types of flowers) randomly in just the front yard a few years ago. It's incredible as things start and continue to bloom...
