What's the deal with the shortened list of threads? If you search for a thread it's there, but they've disappeared otherwise? what's the deal?

i think pruning has been activated.

there shouldn't be any pruning going on.

Check under your used control panel (top left) / edit options / scroll down to the third box called 'Thread Display Options' / at the bottom is a dropdown box titled 'Default Thread Age Cut Off' - choose "Show All Threads"

You need to go into your Control Panel, and change your preferences to show the threads from however many days back you want to go.
