I am working on a picture for a client of her Grandaughter, she wants me to just create her in a background I feel suits her expression. Been thinking about it off and on all day....
Well I just tried taking a nap with baby and I had a flash of a childhood memory.... I think it was a kids tv show, I see large flowers that would open and characters would be inside, I think they where real actors and not animation....then I see them at the end of the show closing up again...I cant pull anymore out of the memory except those two things....Does this sound familar to anyone!!! I remember thinking they looked so comfortable.....any one?? maybe it was just a reoccurring dream not sure......
let me know if this jogs anything for you!! thanks

I just looked up some stuff on the Magic Garden dont think it was that one....It would have to have been aired on either PBS or ABC in order for me to get it as a kid...I think we only had a few stations from the US back then....ikes I am really aging myself....

Hopefully it wasn't a local programming thing.
I'm sure if I said Major Mudd or Boom Town, only New Englanders would know what I was talking about.

Well I am officialy zapped from trying to figure this one out..
thank you to everyone who tried to help....Never saw the bugaloos before today and after much thought it is not HRhuffnsnuff. Maybe the whole scene was but just a dream sequence that stuck with me. No one has mentioned the Banana Splits yet. Thought I would throw it in.
One banana, two banana, three banana, four
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Coming on to bring you the Banana Splits Show
Come to think of it, no one has mentioned Sigmund and the Sea Monsters. Electra Woman and Dyna Girl? Alimighty Isis? Who are Sid and Marty Croft and how did they dominate children shows in the 70’s-80’s?
Sounds like the Bugaloos. They all had papery wings, played instruments, lived in trees and had 70’s hair.

Sorry Zendada, I thought you were calling me a noob. You are not a noob. This is a noob----
COMMON NOOB CHARACTERISTICS
I. Noobish
Often, but not always, noobs will attempt to communicate in their own primitive language, known as noobish. It is a variant of the hacker language that exposes them as having little intelligence or will to learn. Here is an example of some noobish. Do not attempt to comprehend it: it cannot be discerned without professionals at hand.
stFU /\/\an, i r teh r0xx0rz liek emin3m, u cna go tO EHLL OR ATLE4St help m3 wit hthIS!!111!!!!!!!1~~1!!``!! LOLLOLOLLOLOLlOoLLOlollLLl u n00b
Although you may find this unbelievably funny and/or annoying, it is best to restrain yourself and keep from talking back to them, as they are very territorial and easily angered. This will result in their attempted verbal abuse of you, possibly backed up by other noobs, because they work in packs when doing offensive tasks. It is not an easy task to learn this language because our intelligent accent will keep it from sounding quite right when spoken. You can write some simple noobish of your own, however, by slamming your face into your keyboard repeatedly.
II. Where to find noobs
On the internet, noobs make their colonies on forums. They migrate in waves, usually on weekends, and proceed to clog up bandwidth with stupid questions and sometimes even stupid answers. If you happen to be unfortunate enough to be on a board large enough to attract migrating noobs, there will hopefully be authority in charge who is smart enough to take extermination measures before they can make nests and larger colonies.

Just spent another 45 minutes trying to find these large flower dwellers!!! turns out I am not the only one, found two posts out there of people claiming to have also watched a show as a child seeing characters that lived in flowers!!! Unless of course it was a mass dream sharing issue! Some kind of hidden Alien abduction memory....however these two also have not had any luck finding the show. They where Canadian though which leads me to believe it had to be a TVO production, not an American one.
and I am not sure why he never got to Meet Polk a Roo but I do remember yelling at him on the tv to hurry up or turn around while Polk a Roo was there.

Okay even though I said ,I was sure it wasnt, I am about to put this one to bed. After hours of looking through old tv show photos I am going to say it must have been the bugaloos after all..there are quite a few shots with four giant flowers in the background and there are four characters, so I must have just got the one episode somewhere in time when they went inside the flowers to hide from that nasty witch or whatever she was....
OMG!! now that I am typing and rambling I realize that is what it was, the whole thing is coming back much clearer now!! Either that or I am rewriting my own memory to satisfy a need to end this over racking of the brain.....thank you all and Goodnight.
