anybody watching this show? it started tonite at 8 and its a 2 hour premiere(sp) episode. I love the show bc of the intense drama from chef ramsey who rips on the other chefs. I watched the first one last summer. This is the 2nd season. There are 12 chefs, 6 women and 6 men who are fighting to the top to win thier own milti million dollar resturant in las vegas.

Its hilarious seeing chef ramsey ripping on those poor guys.

We were waiting for Hell's Kitchen since the finale last year. My wife being a certified chef, takes Ramsey's side on almost all issues.

Also, if you like shows about food (who doesn't?), I'd highly recommend Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations on the Travel Channel. He wrote a book called Kitchen Confidential, on No Reservations, he travels to different countries and samples their native food. Not the fancy restaurants, usually, more the native population's home cooking. Not a snooty approach at all, he smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish, and gets down with the homies in the different countries. Well worth watching.

great show - he's probably the top chef in the world at the moment. There are only a handful of 3 michellin star chefs - mostly french and he's at the top of the pile. I would kill to eat in one of his restaurants.

A friend of mine did a year or so ago. Apparantly it's a culinary experience like you wouldn't believe - she was basically speechless after. Mind you a lunch for 2 ran to 500 pounds!
