In PS 7, if you held down ctrl and clicked a layer, it would select what was on that layer.
In PS CS2, I can't get it to do that. I have to use the magic wand and click on the layer and then use "select inverse".
Anybody know why?

I think you may actually have to click on the thumbnail of the layer, not just the entire layer bar.

Why they changed it is beyond me. Although if you have a bunch of layers and you Command click (Mac) (I'm guessing control click on PC), it lets you select multiple layers that aren't directly next to each other, so maybe that's why. Okay maybe I won't rant, because that is kinda :cool:
