I need help with flash.

ok, well I have been working hard on my website lately, and i have spend the last 4 days waiting to get my hosting account set up, but it is finally working and up an running. With all of this new webspace i have got, i will probably be doing a lot more work to go on my online portfolio on my website. (www.ice-design.ws (http://www.ice-design.ws)) but on the "Portfolio" section I have only a text box that doesnt scroll. this may seem like a stupid "noob" question but i am still learning http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

what i want is a text box that scrolls BUT i can ALSO haveIMAGES that scroll whithin the text box,

I know how to make a text box that loads ".txt" files dynamicly, but this is worthless as i need thumnail images for my portfolio that will scroll whith the text beside them.
Does anyone know a way that i can do this? it would be very helpful.I would be able to add a lot more content to my site (one thing that people say is lacking on my personal site).

Looks like nobody knows or are just ignoring me so I got another question. Does anyone know a Flash MX forum where i will acctually get an awanser. I have seen a lot of peoples websites on this forum and a know some people know. But oh well, if you not gonna help me out can you tell me somewhere that will

i have been to actionscripts.com and it has a scrolling thing like the one on casedsgn, i don't wanna rip his idea off. I'll keep searching on google.

The key here would be to scroll an entire movieClip...not a text box. I'm assuming you're using the built in component to scroll your text. Use the scrollPane component to scroll your movieclip. Set up a movieClip with the text and images where you want...and drop it into the component. You can load the dynamic text into the movieClip with the images.

so you mean that i make a movie clip symbol w/ all the page content then link it to the build it scroll pane component? another thing. Could you use a movie clip symbol to create an animation that loops on every page. I am still new to flash, i need to go back to the basics, 'cause i can dynamicly load test files but i cant do a lot of basic stuff. i think i will check out some tutorials. i also want to learn how to manipulate particle effects using action script. there is a lot i could learn about flash and as i learn more i will have more 'Creative Freedom' which is the main reason i like flash. I hope they teach me a little flash in college, although i have learnt a lot on my own. ok well i found a great flash website whith some .fla files and some great ideas and effects www.ultrashock.com, it's probably the best website for flash developers i have seen yet. I know i am studying graphic design, but like you case i think i am going to use a lot of flash for web design.

Here is a scroller a designer friend gave me :) you can customize the buttons and add a frame but it uses a .png for text and thumnales it's pretty cool i thought here it is... I think alot of flash designers do this.
