At my job, some people use indesign on a PC, while I use it on both Mac and PC. When I try to open a document on the mac that was created on my PC, I'm told there are about 13 fonts missing, even though I've already copied all of my fonts over from my PC. Any ideas?

Are they postscript fonts? As far as I know, PC T1 fonts cannot be used on a Mac. But PC TT fonts can. And of course, Opentype fonts are cross-platform.

The more I poke at this, the more it seems I should just stick to Indesign on my PC...since I'm the only one in the company who also has a Mac.

Eggles is right, PC Type 1 Fonts can't be used on a Mac (as Mac Type 1 Fonts can't be used on a PC). At least I've never had any luck trying it, even when converting from Fontographer. TrueType and OpenType are more flexible, although I've had trouble with some TrueType as well. Haven't really tried with OpenType, have just read about it.
Why not just have everyone in the office switch to a Mac? :D
