I primarily do architectural renderings and 3d modeling, but also do print and web design work. Learned a great deal on the forum so far, more than most classrooms.
Thanks

Welcome aboard! I'd love to see some of your 3d and archiviz stuff, I'm starting to get into archiviz myself. What programs are you using?

Hello both of you... or half of you... or everyone... or... forget it.
tyger,
I using SketchUp and Vectorworks as my primary tools for modeling. All of the 3d modelling I currently do is for the architectural industry. For renderings, I use Photoshop, Maxwell, Kerkythea, and Illustrator. Considered Piranesi, but I can pretty much accomplish the same things with Photoshop. There are alot of great rendering packages out there depending on whether you want to go photorealistic or painterly looks. Both have their merits depending on the project. I wish I had more time and money to spend experimenting with other modeling/rendering software.
Thanks for asking.

welcome to GDF! We do have a nice 3d section that could use some action - post some of your work if you get the chance!
