In InD CS2 is there a simple stupid way to change an object that's been inadvertently made into a text box, back into an object (other than undo. I didn't create these files)?

Maybe it's early and I have a sinus headache, but I'm not following that at all. Sorry PD.

Someone makes a wacky shape in InDesign that is supposed to be vector and has a fill.
But, they take a text tool and inadvertently click on it, making it a text box.
Now I have an item that thinks it contains a font not used anywhere else in the file.
I can't find a way to make that text box back into a shape. My only recourse has been to change the unused font into a used font but in some cases it's the die-line that has been made into a text object. Not earth shattering. Just sloppy. It's gotta be something very simple I'm missing.

Seems like any file I get has Times even tho Times isn't used, it's just the blinkin I-beam in the picture box. If there is a way to not have it, I'd be grateful too!
