I'm looking for a good quality color label printer for making custom labels. Can anyone recommend any or where to look for these. I need something that would generate professional quality labels for nutritional supplements.
Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for something to print yourself?
The grocery stores use thermal label printers to print onto color prescreened roll stock for their bakery items. I couldn't even begin to tell you the brand of the thermal printer but you might want to check out that avenue.

Primera LX800 is the only Desktop Inkjet Color label printer on the market that i am aware of.
we just got one and it works pretty good for small runs..
Thanks for the info's. What I am trying to do is create professional looking labels without going to a printer for it. I could probably do this on regular printers too but I am unsure of what paper type to use. Also I would like the quality to be professional looking and not look like my son did them for me. If it would be better to use and inkjet/laser printer and order labels from a place like www.rippedsheets.com (http://www.rippedsheets.com)
The only problem I have is when I look at that site it is difficult to know what label I will need. The size is not an issue. I would like something glossy and something that doesn't let the ink smudge/run. I'm unsure of which way to go about this project but any guidance is appreciated.
