Hey there everyone. It's Friday, I am completely unmotivated, and it's the perfect time to procrastinate getting back to work by hanging out here for a bit. Let's see..about me... I never went to school for graphic design or really had any direct training, so if I've asked dumb questions (which I know I have), please forgive me. :) I am a writer "for real", but somehow found myself as a marketing manager for a resort in Wisconsin. I do the design and copywriting of our ads and collateral as well as the scheduling and buying of print and media. Pretty much anything marketing related, I have my hands in. I've done retail copywriting and design for a few years and really had the opportunity to learn bits and pieces of a lot of different skills. I'd love to do travel writing someday when I have more time to focus on it. I also currently own rental properties that my boyfriend (of 6 1/2 years) and I buy and fix up and rent out. I've really enjoyed visiting GDF and have learned a lot from all of you so thanks for the help! I look forward to hanging out here and tip-toeing around the forum. Oh, and I am a dog AND cat lover. Two dogs and two cats...and a lizzard and some fish.

I have a rotweiler and a bernese mountain dog. I will have to post pictures of them because everyone seems to think that rots are mean...and I have pictures to prove otherwise. :) My rot is 2 and my bernese is 7 months and they are so much fun. Onyx, our rot, is a certified therapy dog so we take him into hospitals and nursing homes to visit people. Coral, our bernese, will also be a therapy dog, but we can't have her ceritified until she's a year old.

Morea, I don't know how you handle 9 cats! I have my two and I have my hands full. My little girl is so sassy and she also loves to steal jewelry. And my boy is scared of everything and he's a big mommas boy. I am impressed with your picture of all of your cats eating in a row!

they are all rescue cats, and I think that makes them a little more grateful for what they have.
Don't get me wrong, they can be little hell raisers sometimes... some of the boys like to chase splash around the house because she screams when they chase her.
Sometimes you can't get out of bed in the morning, because they are all ganged up on you and have you pinned under the covers. Fortunately, they are actually "trained" that when I say "cat food" they run into their bedroom and wait for me to feed them. Otherwise, I would be completely at their mercy! :D
