Hi , colors are awesome! love the red/grey combination, my only suggestion would be :
Take out the gradient from the middle products and do like a reflection on the background, also get rid off the white border, and puta dropshadow on the 5 bottom squares.http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/happy.gif

The cameras in Baskin Robins are Computar. They have a on/off switch on the back and it has been off for some time. I guess they were trying to frighten us into behaving in the back. I didn't work. <insert evil laugh>
Anyway, I agree with Brui. I would probably space out the letters a little... Increase the kerning in GD terms I guess. lol

Yeah, great impact with the red. It's simple and effective and can be seen a mile away. http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/happy.gif
Is there really supposed to be a white outline around the top row of items? I like the drop shadow idea but I was thinking makethe shadow in the same style (not so feathery or blurred) and have them go in the same direction as the shadows on the top row. Almost like they're huge cards sitting on a display counter. The borders on the bottom row are ok to me too.

MILK! MILK! LEMONADE!
Thanks everyone for the comments.
It went through the rounds and my boss almost changed up the whole design on me till he realized this one is better.
When you work of a corporation and take over someone’s job it takes a while before you can actually design work. I’ve been here over two years with incremental advancements to the designs of literature. Now I’m actually pushing my own taste on them. If I’m here for the new catalog it’s really gonna be something different compared to the last two I’ve done.
Anyhow here is an update with some changes I’m trying to keep the original look so it’s little changes but none the less changes.
I appreciate all the feedback although I can’t use all of it.
Ryan you use our cameras, cool! Keep me employed. Oh and we sell dummy models look to see it the lens is so black that you can’t see the optics, then you know it’s not real but if you see the optics watch out!

My eyes are still bouncing from me scrolling up and down trying to see what you did differently. ;D
I think the objects are laid out better now and the thinner borders work for me too, they complement rather than intrude. Neato!
Oh, and thanks for the tip on the fake cameras. ;)

i think my local bank uses the fake cams...
:i sell high quality sweet coconuts:
I highly doubt your bank uses the fake ones. If anyone uses the fake ones the bank would defienly be last.
Thanks for the comments!

Red always draws them in, like birds of prey to blood - good choice - low key yet strong, good work!
But...
Where's the power tools? I like power tools. Air ratchets, table saws, biscuit joiners, Esab plasma cutters and those cool little staples that are shaped to go around data cable - makes for a really sanitary installation (that's my favorite)
How can you even consider a trade show poster w/o Booth Babes? Where are the Booth Babes? No wait - I'll bet the booth babes are at the trades show - waiting. Do you have their names? Where's the next show? Do you think if I dropped your name at the show that they'd warm up or maybe they would just run away like all the others... Like terrorized birds.
Anyway, benjo, cool trade show poster. Love trade show work - miss it. Did you mention whether the sign is back-lit?

No Matter Where You Go... There You Are.
Hey Benjo it looks really nice except.....and someone please correct me if I've got this wrong.....aren't things with a 'face' supposed to point toward the inside rather than an outside edge? Like on the top row of goodies I'd switch the two cameras on the left over to the right side and the one on the right over to the left. :)
If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done.
(When I grow up I want to be just like Keyare! He does excellent work - even when he's trying to not to.)
Thanks guys, lol
I guess things could point in or out, I don't know I just follow what looks good I'm non-conformist you know.

Yeah, traditionally you want things to point inwards because that draws an imaginary sight-line for your eye to follow and to keep you in the piece. But who cares about tradition anyway?

sometimes when they look 'in', it excludes the viewer....not sure what to do? ''suck it and see'', i say.
looks good - especially for a trade show. there is so much dry work out there - and in large format, too. right on.
booth babes? hey benjo!! you be at that show, or what?
greetings, earthlings. take me to your dealer.
No I'm not going to this one but shoot me it's in Miami. WTF we do I always pick the worst shows to go to.
Anyhow I just got it printed and back check it out, BTW my photography is great, I know really.
Oh and babes, we only get them back at the hotels, 'Oh' I mean we don't get any, yea thats right.
