DESIGN CHALLENGE for 6-26-06

Woo Hoo!! Happy Monday! It's a new week and a new GDF Graphic Design Challenge! *audience roars* :D

Great job last week on the Trading Cards. What a variety! Love to see the different interpretations.

Thanks to Zendata for this week's Design Challenge idea! PM me if you have any ideas. I want to do something for the "webbies" out there but having a hard time coming up with ideas that will reach across to print designers too so send me a PM. (something besides banner ad)

As usual, it runs from Monday to Monday. There is no voting or prizes unless you reward yourself, which you should, and often! Have fun and flex those creative muscles! Hey, nice pipes! :D

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

Create an overly cute anime or illustrated character. Make your own "Pikachu". Create an anime version or cartoon version yourself or someone else or some"thing" else. Give it a face and a name.

Have fun with it! Any level of talent is welcome - it's just for fun, not critique so don't be shy. Challenge is open all week. :D I can hear the hoots from Massachusetts...Drorain!

although i had done this a while back (2002 to be exact, while still in school, as a school project) i thought this was the perfect opportunity to brush this lil critter up and put it up for amusement :) Sadly this is the only one i have left, i had about 10 different ones (composition with anomaly and size, texture etc) and lost all but this one....

well here it goes I designed this guy when I had some free time today hes a work in progress I will add legs or a hover base something like the yet.
Hes not really cute so I added a heart for him:D .

used CorelDraw8-Corel PhotoPaint8 with tablet.
I worked on him some this evening i think he is a bit better I will work more on the heart body tommorow
