Anyone remember the "Get to know 'em" Campaign that Hunt Adkins did for the Minnesota Twins a few years back which has launched into a number of great new campaigns each new year? They did radio spots, commercials, print ads, web stuff etc.
Being that 1) it was so succesful & 2) we're a local Minnesota company we want to do a similar campaign. We sell & service printers/copiers etc and manufacture our own toner brand (nothing sexy I know) but we're trying to create a little more of a buzz about us with our existing customers and let our new clients know who we really are... that them doing business with us employs a number of Twin Cities residents and creates jobs to stimulate the local economy and in return they get great service & repair, friendly & professional customer service, & a great product from us all with our own little personality.
We want to launch a campaign called "get to know us" that will be used in our on hold messages and in our print and web marketing & advertising.
The idea is that, like the Twins "get to know 'em" campaign, we feature someone from our organization and be creative and unique to let our clients in on who is really servicing their printers, delivering their toner etc. Being that we are a small company, trying to reach a large market, with small marketing resources & funds I think piggy backing on this idea and making it a little apparent that we are parodying the Twins campaign obvious.
Overall general question is what do you guys think about this idea
