I'm a graphic designer. My wife and I just moved to South Florida. In lieu of bands who are willing to tour here, we have year-round sunshine. I'm pretty sure that was a worthwhile trade.

I've been working as a graphic designer for just over a year. Professionally, I'm nowhere near where I want to be, but I feel that I am on a decent track. I just got a job with a book publisher, which pays well and is giving me a good environment to learn in. I want to do more freelance work.
