OCE CS 5050, help needed with colour

HELLO, just bought this wide format printer ( home use) and would like to know how I can output correct colours using flexisign...images comming out too dark, blues are purple tones, reds pinky tones ! Anyone help ?

Are you using OnyxPostershop rip?
What do you know about color management?
Are you using OCE inks?
Are you using OCE developed ICC profiles for the media you feed into the printer?
You do understand that some PMS colors will be out of gamut for your inkjet right? And that you may have to chart colors to hit some of them if the profiling doesn't work?

Wide format, Flexisign, and Home Use sound a little bit contrived but hey, if that's what you have... It just sounds more like you're in a sign shop.

Hi, I amnot using onyxposter shop as it too expensive for me right now.I am using Flexisign scanvecamiable. The problem is I know nothing about colour management at all. The ICC profiles for OCE within Flexisign are minimal and non that match my media (artist canvas) The OCE CS5050 is a rebadged Encad novajet 630 so I am having to use profiles for this machine in Flexisign. OCE tell me that there is no specific driver for the CS5050 as it runs from postershop alone. There are 2 drivers for the OCE5050 on the Flexisign but none for my 600 dpi printer ! I can use it as it is but when it comes to photographic work I need to be spot on in order not to get work returned. Any help guys ?
