Hi,
I just thought to start a website where all enthusiastic font designers can display their latest fonts for free and give the same for demo / shareware/ freeware download. Please give me the inputs where we can make it more comfortable to font designers to give them the credit for their fonts.
This is not a commercial site.

Here is logo and website layout i come up.

If i were you I wouldn't put so many adverts on the home page. Draw in people without all the ads and then it's once they're in the site you put some ads. People are more likely to click one ad out of one then one out of 6 on a page if you understand what i mean.

I would have to say that I honestly don't like the organization of the website - but it looks like you're still figuring that one out.

As for the logo, one thing I like to do after I figure out I'm using distressed type is to outline (make text outline) the font and change any letters which exist twice.

This way, it doesn't look so cookie-cutter-ish... if that makes any sense.

Good luck,
Dale

looks like a free font site to me.

Maybe try looking at some not so free font site(s) if your looking to improve your design.

The logo is fine without all the grungy stuff every where. It could be better but, pigs could also fly.

if your happy with it I'd say leave it be.

Off course I would have to see the final design to say for sure.

One thing I do realize though its its quite difficult to design a website(something based on information) without the information part. So maybe… get some information first and foremost.
