As suggested by Broacher. ;)

I'd like to see what other people see on their way into work.

Even if that's just your neighbours backing out of their driveways for you stay-at-homers.

This morning I had a fawn stumble across the road about 50 feet in front of me. No camera around though. Or momma deer in sight. Gee, maybe it was Bambi!

Post away! No deadline on this one.

Sometimes I see these and they remind me of bombs dropping from the sky.

Then I stare out of the window when I take the train and see this.

This is my commute. My office - a separate 12x24 building we refurbished. It's about 60 feet from our back door. I have a bit of a trail worn between the two.

That's awesome, you should build a tunnel for when it rains, or if you have small pets like dog, turtle or cat you can make a smaller tunnel so they can come visit.

Kittie, love your photo...what's that at the bend in the road?

here's one all you Albanians will be able to sympathize with... at least in this shot traffic is MOVING so it looks less like a parking lot than normal.

This is a sign along the road I take from home to work every day. I've watched this interesting "relationship" develop for the last three years, I'd thought the sign would fall over before the tree grew, but the young tree simply grew it's branches around the sign!

There are road works at the moment to expand the road, and I have a feeling they may mow these two "friends" down soon... I took this two weekends ago.

Few years ago I used to pass by this country side view to my work. Very refreshing.

Nice. You should've taken a weekly picture since this started, then put them together into a "fast-forward" animation.

This was taken with my cel phone in January of 06 on my way to work, around Central and Northern in Phoenix. I saw those sunrises and billions of birds all the time, was just very lucky to catch them that day when traffic was stopped.

The twin bridges! Nice work Mo. Thankfully I don't have to deal with that but I know that traffic through the twins can be murderous.

Why can't I resize my photo? It's showing up huge.

urstwile

How are you trying to resize it? And what are you using to post it? Imageshack? Best bet is to create a version resized in Photoshop, and upload that.

Miss Perfect
03-26-2007, 01:46 AM
Well... I was kind of hoping I could drag the corners once it was embedded. :P

Since I'm not working in graphics right now, I don't actually have Photoshop or anything available right now. Can I resize in Picasa?

I think that www.imageshack.us lets you resize when you upload.

Great, thanks! What size do I make it -- 320x240?

morea

I usually stick to around 600 pixel width. Imageshack has one that is 640 x 480 that would be fine.

Here's a shot of the San Diego trolley, which I used to ride on a regular basis, and still ride intermittently (we were getting ready to board to go to Viejas casino).

I am so jealous of those who pass such awesome views of nature on their way to/from work. I notice some beautiful architecture, but NYC is not big on nature....

DARN! I finally got all my pictures uploaded and posted, and when i try to save the changes it says I can't because it's been 30 minutes since the original post went up. OUCH!

These were all taken through a window after a snow, hence the blurry blobs. The first is a reflection taken from inside the subway car:

I like that shot you captured with the graffiti as the train's getting ready to enter the tunnel.

I remember being struck by the color of the water when I went to Miami in January, Gary. It's quite amazing.
