Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me out on this as I'm stuck. I had a logo done last year and the designer gave me the file in .eps format. Now I'm getting labels done and my new printer needs the logo in pdf format. I don't have acrobat but have a pdf converter installed on my pc. Can I just "print" the eps formatted logo (using photoshop) to format the logo? Thanks!

Niki, Find out what size you want the logo to be first. Then open the eps file in Photoshop. From there you can size it down (Image>Image Size) and when you save it do File>Save As thats where you can save it as a PDF file in the drop down menu below where you name it.

That's not a "true" PDF cmont. The printer most likely wants a vector PDF, not a raster PDF (which Photoshop will create)

What software do you have nikib, you obviously have photoshop ... do you have Quark, InDesign ... etc.?

It surprises me that your vendor won't take .eps. He may have requested a PDF, but have you asked him if he'll take an .eps file?

Thanks Craig - you know I didn't ask her but I will. No, the only other graphics software I have is Fireworks. Just in case though, is there any other way to do it just in case...?

There migth be some ways to do it. The easiest would be that I'm sure that someone here on the forum would be willing to PDF it for you pretty quickly if necessary.

If it's something you want to be able to do more than just this once, if you give us your OS we might be able to recomend some ways of doing it.

Go to Create Adobe PDF (https://createpdf.adobe.com/)

You can create up to 5 high-quality PDF's on Adobe's site. I just tested it, and it works and creates a print-resolution PDF out of an EPS file.

I'm glad it was still there. I had to use it a couple of years back in a pinch because I didn't have Acrobat Distiller installed yet on my machine and needed something in a hurry. Glad it worked out for ya!
