Hi everyone! Just finished a logo for a client. Need some feedback.

Art is original and I created in Illustrator. Comments, suggestions, critizisms welcomed.

That background is pretty intense - maybe something a little less garish.
But the illustration's really great.

yeah, keep in mind I am limited to the colors of our in house swatch library and also the output is on fabric (we are a sublimation company), so that VIBRANT orange (jersey color) isn't as vibrant as it appears on screen. I was worried about same thing but tested it on fabric and thought It looked nice.

Have you heard of the new pirate movie? Its rated arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I dig the logo, pretty badass. But maybe would be better on a dark background or black.

originally i put it on a wavey black flag for the very reasons you guys have stated. Got too busy. Has to be on orange (orange hockey jersey- phillie style)

Very good image there, I agree on going for a dark backgroun to throw forward your elements.
