Is it just me or has everybody's day completely sucked? I have had the most awful day. I woke up and within 20 minutes had made a payroll mistake for our software company. Came home, worked on a cd cover which didn't get done. Drove 70 miles to pick up my son who was 30 minutes late meeting me at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. On the way there I actually called the state police cause this weirdo wouldn't quit following me and making lewd gestures at me from his car. I was so scared. Once I got my son I found out that while a guest at someones house, they made him do dishes everynight (4 days) - he's 11, I mean c'mon. I had their kid over and treated him like a king - despite the fact that he broke my cast iron bed that I've had since I was 10. I'm all for chores, but when you're a guest at another childs house?! Came home to discover cable was out. Held on with the cable company forever. Went to get my meds - severe thyroid problems - they don't have my medicine in stock. Then, came home to find that my kids had a huge spaghetti fight. Spaghetti was all over the place. Everybody's punished and currently cleaning. I couldn't be in a worse mood. Fortunately, the pharmacy was kind enough to give me a dose of medicine which should kick in in about 30 minutes or so.

The only good that came out of today is that my 3 year old is naive enough to think mommy's magic cause I put stuff on the copy machine and hot damn another one just like it comes out! Thanks for reading my rant. I hope my evening goes better than my day!

Sorry cornfed, I had a similarly bad one yesterday. But there only about 6 hours left of it and then everything starts fresh. http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif

Thanks guys! I'm about to just turn in and call it a day - I guess its true what they say - some day's you're the bug and some days you're the windshield!

Feeling a lot better now than my thyroid is drugged. What a screwed up system. If I don't take my medicine, then the slightest thing just makes me want to start wringing necks. It's like pms times 100! I wonder if other people with screwed up thyroids get like that.

Cornfed, I think half the drivers I share the road with in the mornings must have screwed up thyroids.

That's why I started taking the train to work. If everyone else wants to play bumper cars out there, then it's not my problem anymore.

And for some reason, my Friday kind of sucked, as well. Nothing as bad as what some of y'all had going on, but it just wasn't really a good day, either.

Ha, thats funny! The endocrine system controls all of your hormones. I don't get real bad pms and when I do, I'm more likely to do something like cut my hair by myself or something like that. But God Bless whoevers in my path if my thyroid is off even the slightest. It does weird things to me. I can't gain weight - the doctor told me not to come back to him until I had gained 10 pounds - I got a new doctor, my nails are paper thin, my hair falls out more than other peoples - it's all so aggravating. But the weight thing just kills me. My kids were kind enough to point out that they think I look anorexic in my swimsuit. Kids can be so brutally honest! I'm going to start an exercise regimen beyond swimming once school starts and I don't have 2/3rds of my kids during the day to try to beef up a little. I have big plans to grow a butt.
