Well I dont really know if this is a showcase or a ask for critique/check

It looks nice. The only thing I don't like is the typography on the buttons. The font isn't that clean and the "Projects" and "Portfolio" are too cramped inside.

Yeah I see what you mean, how bout trebuchet MS (its changed so go look heh)
and its latin that in the body text, for automatically generated latin filler text, www.lipsum.com.

Well, I dont know about him, but I goto the Art Institute of Dallas :D but im only in my 2nd quarter :( which is about my actual 4th or so cause i transfered in with 26 credits (all my basics mainly)

Haha no - I think it's all what you make of it. Unfortunately when 95% of the student body would rather sit around and bitch about their english 101 class, I found it hard to take school seriously while there.

It looks great. I would just make the images for your navigation with a transparent background so you don't notice the left and right edge.
Great job really for a student and as a designer in general.

Nice. I'm in my last quarter at the Art Institute of Washington. I know an acquaintance that goes to AiDallas. I hear it's really nice. I wish we had Painter9 on our machines. T_T
It's good to see other AI students on here.
The typography needs work, and the layout is a little cramped for my taste. I think the navigation system is a little cheesy, do you really need the animated buttons?

We have everything and anything you could want on a pc, or mac, we have brand new g5's with widescreens, its great!

The buttons were more of an excercise for myself, since I got the orginal idea from ALA's 1 image rollovers and wanted to see if i could code it myself. No javascript 100% css so that the main reason, the layout is cramped because its a portfolio site, no need for sprawling pages with out tons of content, and the typo, again just an experiment for myself.
