It's gonna be a hot weekend! Lots to do and the temp's gonna be close to 100...again!

The Orange County Choppers (OCC) are doing a live show this Fri-Sat-Sun at the Spokane County Fairgrounds. We'll prolly be up by 9 Saturday morning so we can go get a spot on an I-90 overpass to feel the ride of 1000 choppers as they go by.

Then there's the annual FREE Air Show at Fairchild Air Force Base, just outside of town. The Thunderbirds are there this year. If we're lucky, we'll catch 'em flying over the house. We're not too escited to be on the tarmac with 100,000 sweaty bodies with nothing over our heads and no coolers.

The Tri-Cities Water Fllies host the Columbia Cup hydroplanes this weekend. It gets hotter there than here.

And the Seahawks open training camp Saturday at EWU, just outside of town.

So much to do and it's gonna be oh so hot and dry.

Everybody have a good weekend...stay safe.

Now.............what to do?

I got my run tomorrow at 8. After that, I'm probably going to eat, sleep in the afternoon (I have to wake up at 5:30 in the a.m. on a Saturday, I haven't done that since working my last job), then start piecing some projects together. Probably go out, then Sunday I'm hoping to get some work done concerning my own "brand" identity.

Going to a 3 day electronic music festival, or I am going to stay home and catch up on some work stuff. Tough decision.

Good luck on the run Rueb's. I'll be driving to boston on Saturday morning to check out some apartments and enjoy a nice dinner with the GF. The its off to the hotel and the drive back home on Sunday. Hopefully we'll get to walk around the city before we leave on Sunday.

Driving to western WI to pick up some new rims for my hubby's car, and working on my laptop the whole way there and back. Then, when we get home have to get ready for a bachelorette party. Yee-haw! :)

I have absolutly nothing planned... well, my cousins boyfriend plays for a Semi-Pro foot ball team in minneapolis so I'll probably attend that. But other than that, it seems like everyone else has a way better weekend planned than I do!

Have fun Rick - sounds like a fun weekend, and good luck Reuber!

I'm going camping tonight, I'll be back tomorrow night and I'll probably just relax, maybe I'll go out I guess it depends how tired/hungover I am.

Sunday will be a sleep in day maybe mixed with some house cleaning and packing.

I am driving up north to visit some friends in Eau Claire and Minneapolis. The plan was to play some paintball, but it sounds like it is going to be too hot to even try.

Be Careful Roobs, if you feel yourself over heating...well running i suppose that'll happen...just drink lots of water and be concious of how your body is handling the heat. I'm sure the medics at the run will have more than a few cases of heat exhaustion.

Myself I have a beloved imac to get up and running, just arrived at my house today. Need to install and transfer things from the ibook

Then I'm updating the blogs and working more with Holycarp

oh and a couple articles/tutorials to write. Yup busy indeed.

I'll worry about the weekend once I get past today. I have a deadline to finish an interactive Flash animation featuring a Genie. Somehow I also got stuck with doing the voiceover for the Genie. Fun stuff.

IM chillin' with the wife tonight, tomorrow on a cool patio bar on a hot day sipping girlie drinks in Toronto to enjoy the Jazz Festival.
Sundays are what I like to call f*** the dog day...(not literally dog lovers), Do nothing, relax, bbq.

Rick, that'll work. My god, Fridays used to be so relaxing, so "A-Oh-Kay" but I've written them off as the new Monday. Monday's aren't even this bad. And if someone says "Sounds like someone has the case of the Mondays", you know what's comin'.

Danger_Mouse, I'm glad that is not a literal interpretation. ;)

I hear you about fridays Reuber! I've been gettin kicked around all week but today has been worse. For the past few months it seems that fridays just beat me into the ground.

As for the weekend... mow the lawn, bbq, drink ;) , play some Quake, work on some projects I have going on. Then complain about having to go back to work on Monday.

I've had about 4 beers in 3 weeks. Tomarrow a friend is having a pool party so I'm going to make up for the lack of intake. But, I keep it lite these days cause I'm 49 and can't handle it like I used to.

I can't knock em down like I used to either. If you've ever known someone that has gout, you cool the drinking by a lot...and I'm the one. Holy Crap I've never felt pain in my big toe like you do when gout kicks in. I took slapshots in the side of the foot that don't compare to gout. Ya Gotta stop drinking and eating anything rich in proteins...and eat spensive scripts. Plus with grandkids, I can't let myself be an unfit grampa. I owe them more than that!

But no grandkids tonight, so, Bartender, gimme a light... a Bud Light! http://www.mysticwicks.com/images/smilies/chugs.gif

A good friend of mine has gout (printing salesman). He describes it the same way. He says it feels like his big toe is going to burst. Man I don't need that.

I'm supposed to be getting a massage from a friend of ours tomorrow (Saturday), he's a student, so there's that. Then in the evening a friend of ours in an actors group here is performing in one of the short plays they're doing as a showcase so we're going to that. Should be fun, and possible after party afterwards. Sunday, I think is chillax day, I'm doing a favor for a friend for school, so probably putting together a small brochure as a trade for free haircut and color and pedicure. Woohoo!
