As some of you may know, I'm working on a comic convention here in Phoenix, AZ (check the sig). We are having a trivia contest and I've run out of questions. That's where you come in. I need your encyclopedic knowledge of all things comic book related, to come up with some questions, some crazy hard, some easy (we may have children playing). So post your questions and the answers here (with citations if you can).

Thanks,
Dane :D

are you jealous? what's your obsession with sigs this week? Some are getting absurd. One of the reason I liked this forum when I signed up because it didn't have all those annoying banner sigs that you see everywhere else. I liked out clean it was/is. It's your sig make it as big as you want.

Like first appearance of Punisher and all that jazz?

I'm a big comics nerd but I'm going to try my hand at some more general trivia and more recent facts since some people may not be comic lore nerds who know every color of Kryptonite and it's effects (although you may want to look up Kryptonite on Wikipedia because that info is there).

How about I start with some easy ones:

The name of Batman's butler (extra points for First and Last name: Alfred Pennyworth).

What was the name/disguise the Joker used before he became the insane clown he is now? The Red Hood

Name the DC Comics sidekick who grew up and took the place of their mentor: Wally West was Kid Flash and became Flash after Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Who invented Spider-Man's webbing in the comics? Peter Parker himself (although that changed with the movie)

What was the weakness Silver Age Green Lantern rings had? Couldn't work on anything yellow (which means Banana Man could kick G.L.'s butt, I guess)

What was the weakness Golden Age Green Lantern had? Anything made of wood
