As a design firm, finding time to design your own website can be hard. And a lot of times it usually starts out with a bang, but then drags on as clients call and you must drop what you are doing. Even if you set aside time to do it, there is usually paying work that needs to be done. And it's easy to put off your own website to get those paying jobs done.

So we've been working on our new site for months now in between projects. And we've finally got it up. I'm sure there are plenty of tweaks that will occur in the coming weeks and months, but it's finally live.

Here's the link: http://www.gomedia.us

Hope you like it.

cool site! but the logo animation on the top banner drives me nuts when I am reading or going through the porfolio section, just my opinion

At first I wanted to say the front page, and the way the logo and top image keeps changing was annoying. But then I realized that it was only like that for the first page, and when you click on the other ones its static. So, i decided it wasnt a big deal and even adds to the interesting factor.

i think your firm's site is great, and I dig all the work you guys have produced, I'm hoping to get to work for a firm that does this type of work on a regular basis in the near future.

I like it very much, and your work is really cool.

Just a couple of things for me. On the home page, the logo animation, while I understand it's a mini showcase of our work, moves a little too quickly. I understand what you're doing, but maybe just a little more time between the transitions would work better, and also be less distracting?

On the About Us page, maybe narrow the width of each of the 3 columns so you could get three equal columns?

And on the design process page, where you have the alternating light gray and white bars, the type kind of flows oddly with the bars, so sometimes part of the section is hanging down into the next bar.

Otherwise, nice work!

Thanks for the tip, it does look really bad in IE. Still workin the kinks out. That will be something to fix.

And about the logo animation being too quick and distracting, it's only on the home page it's really just about impressing the visitor within the first 10 seconds. And there isn't any important info to read on the home page, just pretty pictures and a contact form. But I don't think it would be too much of a pain to make it 3 seconds in between transitions as opposed to 2.

Isn't "Go Media" another design firm? I could have sworn I've heard of it before.

I do think you could benefit from slowing down the header animation. I was looking at this in Safari by the way.

Anyway, what you want to do is pull people into your other links, make them want to go there. To have an animation that's going so fast you can barely read the comments, well, maybe I'm just a slow reader (actually, I'm not), seems like if you slowed it down, so people's eyes weren't constantly looking at the animation, but at the links on your page, i just think it would help. I'd even say 5 seconds wouldn't be too much.

Still, love the site. I love the work!

nice site

I think the work is good but, the comic book/grunge type approach just isn't my prefered style.

Non the less nice work regardless.

I do really like the first poster though.

Yeah and it's actually getting annoying for me when I visit the site myself. I think I'll go ahead and make it about 4-5 seconds.
