Suri, I just put a tutorial on how to upload images into your thread about how to insert images. It's got screenshots of what you need to do, so hope that helps.

Try opening your image in photoshop and "Save for web", here you reduce the size of the image pixel wise so that it is of an acceptable size.

Then use the "manage attachment" facility on the forum. :)
