Graphic Design Jobs in Cyprus

Hi all,

Got a bit of a strange question for you all... I am currently a Design Manager in the UK, I am looking into moving to Cyprus (Limissol). I was wondering if if anyone know or has had any experiences about getting working over there? I am not touting for work as I am not hoping to move till at least 2007 but wanted to see if:

1. Graphic/Web companies are easy to come by
2. How easy it may be to find vacancies
3. If anyone has or is working there currently and could share there experience with me.
4. Salary ranges etc

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Mate, all I can say is good luck.
GD jobs are hard enough to come by over here never mind overseas! I went to Cyprus last April and by the looks of things out there I can't imagine many GD jobs pop up. But ill have my fingers crossed for you dude.

I do alot of freelance work over here and want to set-up my own business but now moving to Cyprus I did think about setting it up over there. Half my business would be web design so could really do from anywhere... has anyone tried this, im clucthing at straws i know but if you dont ask.......

My great grandpa floated over from Cyprus seeking a better life in the U.S. for himself and his kids. He couldn't find work there. I hope you are luckier than he was over there!

Theres alot to be said for trying things once... I think there are oppourtunities out there to establish a business in design over there as links could be kept to the UK.

not sure what is there at present but i do know quite a few people choosing Cyprus as an emigration destination, must be on the "up".....at least you can kiss goodbye to the UK weather eh!!
