okay, so I'm new to the Print Realm. I've been designing for the web for quite some time but now I got a new job that involves way more print than I'm used to.

With that said...
None of my fonts are displaying properly. On screen, it seems a little fuzzy but I didn't worry about it at first. Then I started printing and no font is printing clearly. At first I thought it was the printer, but after I have pdf'd the doc, it is still way blurry. I've tried multiple fonts and not a single one displays cleary. I've tried playing with the crisp, smooth, strong functions but that didn't help either.
Any suggestions?

Try not to use Photoshop for printing fonts.

I agree with cmont, don't use Photoshop for print jobs. You should use a vector based program like Illustrator, Freehand or Corel or use a page layout program like InDesign.

Photoshop text is great for the web, but not for print.

eek. bad girl. I know. I should be using InDesign, but ya know...

thaks for the resolution. I'm not sure how this ended up with 72. I thought I put 300. I guess it's my web reflex.

thanx for the help.

Check your pdf settings. Make sure you are using a print pdf and not an email pdf setting. That will get you everytime!
