Yeah it was. John (he was the bandleader I worked for when I was 28) is one of my favorite people. We have such a riotous time whenever we see each other. I know them some 17 yrs. They were at my 30th surprise bday party, and my 40th :D
Very bright fellow, Notre Dame grad who now works for Dreyfus. So does Alison.

No, that's not meanie. Meanie's a whole person taller than John. 5'8" vs. 6'3". John's only 6'3" if he's lookin' straight up (see that honker?). I told him sat. I'd break his nose, but I only have 2 hands.

Not that mean. You should hear the shite I say to him. John's half polish, half italian, and another friend of mine, who was also at my 40th bday, is half polish half english, and the 2 of them were talking. I grabbed some torn wrapping paper and drew a quick sign that read "Polacks of the world, Untie!" and held it over their heads.
