I just finished a project, and for whatever reason I cant save it as a jpeg, tif or gif. At school I can use all of these options. I just got Illustrator CS2 for my PC and I use Mac at school. I'm lost, any help? Greatly appreciated!

did you try file > save for web ?
If you want to save as any type of RASTER image from Illustrator (ie, .tif), you have to "Export" (or Save for Web, if you want 72dpi), NOT "Save As"...
Just like if you want to bring any images into Illustrator, you "Place" them if they're Raster, and you "Open" them if they're Vector.
Likewise, Photoshop "Exports" to Vector, and "Saves" to Raster formats, and "Opens" Raster Formats, while "Placing" Vector formats.
