A day late I know. I had a busy day yesterday. Forgive me? :)

Now that the GDF Community Service crew is busy cleaning up the brick walls that got tagged last week, it's time for this weeks challenge! Thanks to Spindaddy, we're going to try a little something for the webbies out there - and for anyone else.

Thanks to all that sent in suggestions - I've got a months worth of ideas! If you have any great ideas for the challenge, send me a PM!

There is no voting or prizes unless you reward yourself, which you should, and often! Have fun and flex those creative muscles!

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

Our customer wants you to design a header/banner for his blog site. The name of the blog is "On The Road Again." He is a traveling salesman and writes about his unusual experiences, places and interesting people encounters while on the road.

Here's the specs:
size: 72 dpi, 576 pixels x 145 pixels (this is a fictional size just for design challenge purpose)
text to include: "On The Road Again" and anything else you deem appropriate
graphics: whatever you want.

OK. I was itchin to design. :D a bit slow this weekend, and prepress BORES me. SO, here's my weekly entry.

try imageshack, and then paste the bottom link "Direct link to image" into the "insert image" button above your message field...;)

I had originally planned to do a blog of photography of roadkill for this one. Once I started looking up photos, I lost the stomach for it. If anyone has a strong stomach, then I think it could be a great idea!!

You took the thought out of my head, unfortunatly I couldnt find a decent roadkill image. :p Was trying to find a kill that was in the middle of a road with the lines down the middle, and then apply tire tracks behind it riding off in the perspective.

Na, it almost looks too fake, and well its not really bloody enough. Matter of fact I see roadkill here all the time, I think I'll grab the wifes digital camera, so when I spot a good juicy one, I can grab a picture.. Now if its another skunk thats gotten deflated, I'll have to pass, dont think I can handle the smell.

I did a quick photo compost on my lunch. I really wanted to hang a pic of the bearded lady from the rear view as an air freshener, but it didn't work out that way. :)
