Usually, I do my create work in Corel Draw, convert it to Illustrator and send it off.
I was trying to design a quick logo and printed it out from Corel Draw. How frustrating. The screen display colors did not print the way they looked.
An age old problem, right? I converted to Illustrator and then printed. They matched closer to the screen colors without any special color management.
Has anyone had any luck with getting screen colors to print from Corel Draw.
[Corel Draw 10, 11; HP 1220 printer; Win2K, Illustrator 10]
Thanks.

I've never had a problem with Corel. Maybe Corel isn't the problem. Maybe it's that "Colour Management" dialogue hidden so well right under "TOOLS".

word of advice.....un-install corel, take the CD and box to your nearest raging fire, and dump contents into it.
you have illustrator, why are you using second hand crap like Corel, when you got the diamond of design sittting in your lap?
no advice other then burn corel and learn illy.
I got banned from cybertarp...boohooooo

Illustrator sucks. Sucks hard. Sucks so hard there's no word for how sucky it is.
It is such a bad bad bad program. Bad I tell ya. Illustrator slurps pecker drizzle.
Corel kicks its puckered little ******* all over the place.
Don't waste your time with Illustrator at all - you got ripped off, wasted your money
and hard drive space installing that lame progam.
Illustrator starts wit 'I' cuz it's for IDIOTS. Corel starts with 'C' cuz it's COOL.
Give your head a shake. Illustrator. Ha ha ha. NOBODY frickin uses Illustrator.

True
I've never had a problem with ANY files output from Corel...ever. In my experience, Corel's colour management far exceeds the capabilities of Ad*be's.
I might not have been here long but does this normally happen?; brain-washed Ad*be types coming in here to trash Corel products? I don't expect it happens in the Ad*be threads...
Maybe Ad*beusers are so insecure they have to come in here and spout-off?

No actually. Dfrag and Silence were just joking around. And I was trying to even up the playing field with some pointless insults.
Everyone knows it's not your tools - it's how you use 'em.
