Well I am trying to retouch this photo that has grain all over the image. I have been looking for tutorials that may help but not much has done a lot of change. Maybe the photo has too much grain? Anyways does anyone know any tips to get rid of grain on images?

There's always the good old dust and scratches filter, but it damages image quality. You may try either despeckle or a very slight gausian blur. It would help us if you posted the pic so we could see what you've got there.

I prefer using Median as opposed to Gaussion blur because you have more detail, like 1.5pixel blur...etc. but yeah will need to see the image to help ya out.

I got banned from cybertarp...boohooooo

yeah, either do as d-frag said or you can try airbrushing the whole image....

also, try playing around with the Healing Brush on each seperate color channel (takes some practice!)

oh yeah, and speaking of channels, this works sometimes too.... copy the best looking color channel (the one with the least amount of grain) and paste it onto a layer below the original photo, then set the original photo's blending mode to Color...
