here are some bees I took yesterday... don't even have a memory card yet for my camera, so I was only able to take like 4 or 5 shots, here are the best two

nice depth of field in the first. Really exagerates the focal point. It also interesting how you created a composition which has the the left and right seperated and balanced out through the contrast in focus and depth of field.

Nice shots... good colour in the second one.
Is the first shot rotated to the right? If not, I'd suggest rotating it to the left, see how it looks.

Thats so awesome of you to say that!!! I thought I was having trouble with cropping, and the whole depth-of-field thing. maybe not? well, Thanks for building up my confidence. I will continue to practice, especially when I buy a gig stick.
But what I really need to practice my grammar lol

nope... thats just how I cropped the image... U suggest rotating to the left 90?... That I will try. Oh yeah, I am super satisfied with sony's color

Bees scare me, and Sam's allergic. But still, beautiful shots. :) What was your camera again Jriddim? I remember you posting it somewhere else, but I'm too lazy to look. :D

I've never done any Macro photography but i think that second photo is really strong...
Can u tell me what u shot it on...
Also I hate to say it but they're not Bumble Bees...
