Bryce is doing their free givaway (http://www.designertoday.com/News/3387/Download.Bryce.5.Free.aspx) promotion again. It's a full version with no limitations. I downloaded it a year or so ago and it's a lot of fun to play around with. There is a learning curve though. But once you get the hang of it you can create some really cool stuff. http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/koolsmiley.gif

Yeah, Urst, I have a lower version of X, too, so it won't work on mine either. I have some other 3D software that I haven't messed with yet.

BTW, when I downloaded it, the mac version, it put a ".txt" at the end... did that happen to anyone else? I took off the .txt and it became a stuffed file... that seems to work fine.

It seems to be a classic app once it's uninstalled. It didn't run on my Mac (10.3.9) ... bummer.

Hmmm ... wait, apparently I need the latest version of stuffit expander. Let's try that.

Wow, you have to jump through some hoops for this. Setting up an account with DAZ, etc. But the latets stuffit expander at least opened the file properly.

OK, I know I'm just talking to myself here. But I finally got it up and running and it's definitely not intuitive. I'll need to play with it some.
Heh heh, glad you got it working. Search online for some tutorials. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it. :)

3D programs tend to be a major pain in the rectal region when you first use them. I remember loathing my 3D Studio Max course in college.

If you're kissing him, I'd recomend some sort of Listerine product.

LOL. That reminds me of a recent Last Comic Standing where this comedian comes out and she's like "Hello, I ain't got jokes, I got PROBLEMS." Thought that was pretty funny.
