I cant help but show this one off, probably one of my best sunset photos to date.

Also, if any of you would like to join my photo blog community, it would really help me out, if one more person signs up and posts a photo I get a lifetime membership. PM me if you are interested and I will send you the invite.

The 29th of Aug marks my first year with Buzznet, and im nearing 40,000 page views. Its an incredible feat for me, who never considered himself a photographer.

Amazing shot. Love how the cloud direction plays off the angle of the hill.

well i went hiking to get the shot, and my camera is a Sony F-717 (5mbs) The only touching up i did was levels, brightness contrast and a sharpen job. the sunsets out here pretty much speak for themselves.

As far as sunsets go, it's very nice, although I find most sunsets to be redundent and boring. Please don't take this as a jab at your work, it's just that everyone loves sunsets so much, that they get way too much play, and people tend to think that they are better than they really are, but thats an opinion.

I like how the clouds move with the horizon, it gives a sense of motion almost like a river.

The thing that i don't particularaly like about sunsets is that they don't take any real skill to capture (the true artwork hapens in photoshop). By that I mean, because it's in the sky, anyone with a point and shoot can look up and snap a beautiful picture. There's no framing, or compsitions to be seen, except maybe where you place the trees to border it.

Now, I will repeat, I AM NOT putting your work down, I myself take sunset shots because I know that people love them, and sometimes they are so dramatic, that I can't help but lbe awed by them myself, but mainly I take them because I know that I will get a good reaction, and they will sell. I wish some of my other pictures sold as much as my sunsets do, it's dissapointing really.
