There are no decent printer forums that I know of so this is just a shot in the darke:cool:

I have a Lexmark C510n colour laser printer. It is still on its starter cartridges and they are at either 90% or 100%.

I've also re-installed drivers but the problem persists.

The problem is, and this just started today, every page has little lines almost in the centre. If the page is all black, the little line (about an 1/8th inch long and only a hair thick..horizontal) is black. But when I'm priting with two colours then there are two lines. At most, during full colour printing there will be four little lines, Cyan Magenta Yellow Black. It almost looks like a Test a printer might run for alignment or something.

It looks like this but in the center of the page.

I've tried this in different programs to see if it was related to Word 2003. That's when It started. I was printing out monthly bills for customers in a word merge and was getting severe banding that is mostly gone but this artifacting remains. Like I said I Rebooted, re-installed drivers, took out the cartridges and put them back in...

I also wiped the photodeveloper as well as somthing else.

Lexmark help/support is a joke... this is how it goes with them "check you have enough toner, then check if you have the right paper then Buy a new Photodeveloper ($250) ROFL.
