Hey all, just want to say hey. It's been awhile since i've been on. Just moved into my new boston apartment and won't have real internet access until Friday or so (Thanx neighbors!). Just wanted to keep you guys updated and let you know that I didn't disappear. Classes started today (as did the drinking... *hiccup*) all is well though, no TV (forgot it in NY, but theres no cable till friday anyway). Went to the student center yesterday and got my tarot cards read (weird school = yes), and he pretty much told me that I didn't have to go to college to do what I want to do (strange huh? considering I was employed full time as a GD before I left). Then the palm reader told me I was going to be sucessful and start my own business and make tons of money, oh joy! Hope everyone is well and until I have a more reliable connection I wont be around much. Talk to you guys soon I hope! Back to the bottomless cup of Seagrams 7 & 7.

Morea, although I hardly know thee. I would be more than inclined to help you financially if it was in my power. On a side note, wouldn't it be great if there was some sort of Graphic Design Union, that assisted in job placement, pricing issues, health care, unemployment, and training? Yea, that'd be a great idea. Seagrams, here I come! STOP YELLING I SAID IM COMING!

not having real internet is better than paying for cable internet and having it not work but being too lazy too call because your neighbor has an open wireless network you can connect to.

Thanx Sam! Finally got internet and cable, now all I need is a TV and an Air Conditioner! I only have a tiny window and my room is like in the middle of the building so the window faces into a little alley and all I can see is other peoples apartments, sigh, atleast I've got my health and i've been able to sleep! Now gotta figure out a balance between working GD and doing classes, and possibly getting a side job and paying attention to my GF. I wish there was an extra day in the week! How about we shorten each day by 3 hours, then we will have enough time to have an 8th day!!!

Great to hear you have internet now .... The rest will come in time .... but as Mac said ... you can save on the AC summers over ;)

Glad to have you back with us cmont http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v54/RedKittieKat/smilies/mwah1.gif

Ugh! you guys don't know what its like with only a 1 window, and no AC. It's like 78 degrees outside and theres only a big hole surrounded by building outside of my window. That means all the air is stagnant and doesnt travel well, no wind = hot air in my room. Im not going to pay for an AC though, just steal one from my mom's place so it's all good, that way I don't need to worry in the spring as I have enough closet space to store it away in.... ok no more pinot tonight, end ramble... see you guys tommorow

When I was living in New York, I often used to run my air conditioner in my bedroom in the winter, because the room was really stuffy, facing out onto an airshaft, and I was near the top floor of the building, as well as sleeping in a loft bed close to the ceiling, so it'd get pretty stuffy and hot. So I can relate to the need for an a/c outside of summer, Cmont.

Finally someone who understands me! hehe thanx. It does get uncomfortable and unless its like 30 degrees outside I can't see it being anything but uncomfortable. Oh well I have to deal until i get home.

2 very important things to do now that you're in Boston.

Get on Route 1 and head to Saugus (it's not far at all) and go to:
1. Prince Pizza
2. The Hilltop Steak House - you won't regret it, I promise.

urstwile

Hmm, I think cmont might have trouble with the pizza place, he can't eat stuff with flour.

Hehe, Urstwile, you are too cool for remembering that! Your awesome! And Jim, I will definitely check out the steak house though! Thanx for the reqs! Now all I need to do is find a bar with a dart board that is decently close to me and then im all set to go!

Went to Lunch, close kittie. I also just finished homework for my Intro to Digital Tools class (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash). About the 3rd photoshop class I've taken, but this one is an introductory one, atleast I'll get some more knowledge in Illy and I'll learn Flash out of it. end rant...

Anyway, I don't think i'll pop 1k today, gotta do this brochure for a client, do the dishes, and laundry. Maybe tommorow... I have a feeling things aren't going to slow down on my end anytime soon. Always moving.
